Since October 2022 I have been the Service Manager for Bolton GP Federation’s Enhanced Access (EA) Service, providing exceptional service delivery to both our patients and our PCN practices. As the Service Manager I have played a crucial role in transforming the way the service is delivered.

I feel I have learned a lot over these past two years and have brought a creative approach to the EA Service. The work my team continues to do has been instrumental in expanding the service, integrating advanced solutions, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

During this time I have also managed to secure a team of over 140 clinical and non-clinical staff to succeed in extending the number of appointments we offer to our patients month by month. Usage of our new, digital KPI system has allowed me to prioritise certain clinicians depending on each individual PCN requirements, ensuring a streamline operation to enhance efficiency and improve overall service utilisation.

Over the next 12 months, I am committed to continuing to improve the service and ensuring every patient has access to the right clinician at a time that suits their needs.
