I started working for the federation in August 2023 as a Finance Officer. I am AAT qualified and have over nine years of experience working in finance.

Whilst working at the fed, I have gained understanding of the vital role of federation in providing support to the health sector by managing different projects. The PCN and Enhanced Access (EA) team are providing extra support to GP surgeries making health care accessible outside practice opening hours.

My job role consists of accurately processing financial transactions which further assists with reporting. I work closely with the PCN team and process all the expenses incurred. I also process payments for the external EA staff.

The federation has provided me with an opportunity to progress further in my career by equipping me with the skills of understanding P&L and Balance Sheet reports in detail.

I work closely with the Management Accountant and assist with any ad hoc duties as and when required.
